Ask questions, get numbers

There’s a reason the New York Times has a list of 36 Questions to Love and not 36 Statements to Love. Talking about yourself rarely produces a connection - more info can be found here. Instead, ask a question. Not something boring like weekend plans or whatever, but something really specific - I find that there are always questions when I see someone’s profile for the first time. “Looks beautiful, where was that picture taken?” or “Is your dog a gemini? I get that vibe” are questions that can lead to really interesting conversations, are great opening lines, and allow you to learn more about your match to see if they’re a good fit for you. Because, let’s face it, the gemini energy can be a lot to handle, whether canine or human.

Bottom line: be curious
